I&#8217;m 14 and a half and I way 120 pounds. I was happy at my weight of 107 pounds last summer. I was on a very strict diet and I did yoga and pilates every day. I bet I could have looked better if I ran but anyway&#8230; I went on vacation for a week&#8230;got up to 120 pounds then went to school and lost 7 pound..now I&#8217;m back to the uncomfortable 120. I am an active girl. I have softball practice 2 hours a day. And I am starting to run again. I usually run on the treadmill to i burn 500 cal at around 4.25 miles in a total of maybe 1 hour or less but I need to know what kind of pace I should keep where I burn that amount of calories. What speed should I put it at? Also, what foods should I eat? Nothing complicated because i cannot prepare entire meals. Somthing simple would be nice. And I love fruit&#8230;I am really curvy so If anyone knows of any videos or excersises that could help me tone specifically my inner thighs, abs, and LOVE HANDLES that would be great. Any websites are nice 2 thanks!</p>

okay, i have cheer tryouts in the spring and i really want to be a flyer, so i need to lose weight. also, i have a figure skating competition in a month and i want to look good in my costume. </p>
<p>i have the &#8220;30 day shred&#8221; dvd, a 45 min. pilates dvd, and a 30 min. yoga dvd, i cant really go running outside cuz its cold.  we have a mini gym in out basement with a few wegith lifting sets, hand weights, an eliptical, and exercise ball, and an exercise bike.  </p>
<p>i would really like to lose 30-40 pounds.<br />
i have tried many times but i have problems with staying on the diet and eating healthy, can you help, pleaseeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>

<p>Well im not going to be too judgemental as you have asked for advice and dont need a lecture. 30-40lbs is a lot of weight to lose in roughly four months, and wihtout knowing your current weight and height it would be difficult to determine whether this goal is feasable.</p>
<p>You seem to have the right idea in terms of exercise, so i would advise you to follow your dvds on a daily basis, cardio is a great fat burner. </p>
<p>Also you should combine this exercise with a healthly diet, low fat, low calorie or low carb. Nothing too extreme so you dont eat all the major food groups and nothing too strict which is impossible to stick too.</p>
<p>There are so many diets around, but personally for myself i do a low fat and lower carb diet (no white carbs, i replace them with wholemeal carbs instead such as pasta and rice).</p>
<p>When you lose weight, weight will come off all parts of the body including your fingers, but you cant target them specifically. </p>
<p>The 30 day shred video should help to target all those areas mentioned. </p>

<p>My normal day diet/ excerise is always something along the lines of this:</p>
<p>wake up early and go swimming squad for 90 mins on weekdays (4-5 times a week)</p>
<p>before breaky evry morning i take a fish oil tablet and drink a multivitamin tablet disolved in water like berocca</p>
<p>Breakfast<br />
lrge bowl of special k cerial w/ low fat lactose free milk and some flaxseed, sunflower seeds mixed through</p>
<p>or</p>
<p>3/4 cup of oats cooked with 1/2 cup lactose free low fat milk, 1/2 cup water </p>
<p>Snack:</p>
<p>Low fat yogurt and or some fruit </p>
<p>Lunch:<br />
big salad with lean meat (eg chicken) or tuna and mixed veg </p>
<p>avo tea:<br />
 fruit salad and vegatble sticks with hommus or avacado dip</p>
<p>twice a week after school i got to the gym for an hour or so and do some weigts or yoga/ pilates </p>
<p>dinner (varies)<br />
usually a piece of grilled lean meat (chicken breast, lamb, salmon steak, beef) with veagtbles, potato, salad </p>
<p>or sometimes a pasta with tomato based sauce, or a laksa/ curry with rice/ rice noodles, and a salad </p>
<p>3-4 times a week i have some fruit or a few sqaures of dark choc for dessert</p>
<p>i rly dnt understand what im doing wrong! </p>

Okay, I am, 16, 5&#8217;2&#8243; and weight about 155, it goes up and down constantly. I am a vegetable-aholic, I love them and eat them as much as possible . I weight 9 stone 4.4 lbs and I&#8217;m 5&#8217;3.<br />
I wan&#8217;t to get down to around 7-7.5 stone. </p>
<p>The plan is to eat around 1200 calories a day and 800 calories on alternate days. Don&#8217;t tell me anything or say anything about the 800 calorie bit. It won&#8217;t slow my metabolism as 1200 calories every other day will keep it stable. </p>
<p>My exercise programme will be 30 mins of strength training with 10 minutes of yoga and 20 minutes of cardio. Along with swimming for an hour 4 days a week. And lots of protein&#8230;.</p>
<p>It will take me around 4 months to lose the weight but will this get me very defined??? I wan&#8217;t abs and a good body and to see muscle in my legs.<br />
Will this work?</p>

If you aren&#8217;t going to put some effort into this (like you don&#8217;t want to save up for an excersize machine or you are too lazy to keep a calorie journal or even ask your mom to make healthier food) then it&#8217;s not going to be easy. >:( Other people on here and myself have taken the time to help you, but you are just shooting down all of our ideas.  My answer is REALLY long, it&#8217;s full of useful tips, there must be SOMETHING relevant to you in it!<br />
If you&#8217;re not going to put effort into what you eat, than you&#8217;re not going to get anywhere. Diet is as much important as excersize, and if you won&#8217;t even try to improve than what&#8217;s the point?</p>
<p>Ok this is a really really long answer, but please give it a chance because it really works, it worked for me and lots of people I know. Don&#8217;t get mad that this is so long hahaz its mostly just lots and lots of tips!<br />
Hey there I have the same problem. . But it&#8217;s acutally pretty easy to lose it and easier than you think. You just have to be patient and don&#8217;t give up because it really does work. Okay well this might be a little hard if you don&#8217;t have an ollyptical trainer machine (google it if you don&#8217;t know what it is. you prob will once you see a picture of it). If you have some other excersize machine this will work too but if you don&#8217;t have any excersize machine than ask your parents to buy you one! It is really important. If they won&#8217;t buy one then that&#8217;s ok but you will have to run which I hate! Well ok do you get a subscription to Seventeen? they have great workouts in there that you can follow. Here&#8217;s what I do. I try to go on my ollyptical for 30 minutes each day (I do it at night but that might not be a good idea if excersize makes you not be able to sleep. For me it makes me tired but it makes some people less tired!) Also you can listen to music while you work out- it makes fun! and the best part is that with ollpytical trainers you never actually run out of breath but you work up a sweat. Anyway, after you do that, do the workout in your Seventeen. If you don&#8217;t get Seventeen, then you can find great workouts at their website or somewhere online. And they are strength workouts not cardio so its more like building your abs (which I admit is like torture- side planks, v-sits, and more) but definetly works. There is also leg, butt, and arm excersizes you can do. You don&#8217;t have to do the strength workouts but they help to build muscle and increase stamina so it is better for you in the long run, so if you want to do them at all the best time is after you have worked out so that you are already sweaty and your heart is already pumped up and you are more flexible. Don&#8217;t forget to stretch when you are done excersizing, whether or not you do the strength training. Stretching is impt. because it helps you cool down and it helps prevent injury or muscle strain so that your muscles won&#8217;t be sore the next day. Honestly you don&#8217;t have to work out every night, it&#8217;s best to do this 3-4 times a week instead of every night. But if you really want to see results fast, then do it as much as you can. Also for what do you eat, my biggest setback on eating is that whenever I eat cereal I always have 2 bowls which is not that healthy cuz cereal is starch. Try to not have a lot of starch-bread, pasta, potatoes. Ik it sucks but starch turns right in to sugar or fat so it&#8217;s not really healthy. So replace some starch with protein like nuts, fish, meat, chicken, beans, and more. If you are vegetarian there are lots of protein choices that is not meat. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies they are delicious and really healthy. Breakfast in a hurry make sure to eat cereal and fruit. If you don&#8217;t have time bring a banana and a granola bar. For lunch if you are at school you can pack celery and peanut butter. It is actually really good! Or carrots and ranch.Something healthy! Pack your lunch with 2 healthy things and allow yourself to pack one thing not so healthy like potato chips or cookies. For dinner try to eat less rice, bread, potatoes, and pasta because again they are starch. If you liek to eat Chinese or Indian food (both yummmm) then you probably will have a lot of rice, so try to eat less starch after that. ALso like if you are dying for a bagle then by all means have one but since a bagel is like 500 calories, and all of that starch, you can&#8217;t have a lot of starch after that. I htink you know what I mean. Also it helps to keep a calorie journal of everything you eat and how many calories you eat. But you probably alraedy do that and you are doing a lot of things right. Im rly rly sorry this is so long lol! Incentivese: if you are at the point where you don&#8217;t wear a bikini but would like to, then go to the store where they have really really cute bikinis and if you find a cheap one, by it! Hang it up in your room where you can see it, and when you are working out think about how great you&#8217;d look in it and how you&#8217;ve come so far and how you are almost there. if you are just looking to tone up, then go to the mall and find something really cute to use as an incentive, or ask your mom to pitch in and buy you a really cute pair of shoes or something that you can set as your goal- for instance if you want to lose 15 lbs then buy the shoes but hide them, only once you have reached your goal of -15 lbs can you have the shoes.</p>

School gets out tomorrow and im also getting a gym pass! im a sophomore girl , and im about 20 pounds from where i would like to be. im about 5&#8217;7 5&#8217;8 ish, and i would like to look thin because im curvy, big butt legs chest all that. so i look bigger than all my friends because of my height and how my body is. im not fat, i dont want you to confuse curvy and fat! but i have definitely gained a lot of weight since i quit cheer and i have a some stretch marks , love handles, and cellulite now which is gross): and i have gained a pouch on my stomach, bigger legs, chubbyish arms, and gained weight in my face also): my body is proportionate i guess but yeah it sucks. and yeah ha i want to be petite looking. because im very insecure about it and im the type of person with just how i look like you could tell i would look way better thinner. um but yeah ha.</p>
<p>anyways hahaha, heres the workout plan: sometimes i will change it up a bit by the way!</p>
<p>straight out of bed: 50 jumping jacks<br />
5 pushups<br />
20 situps<br />
20 mountain climbers<br />
30 sec. plank<br />
7 burpees<br />
repeat 3 times</p>
<p>then this five minute butt workout which is a KILLER.</p>
<p>later on that day: run for 30 minutes</p>
<p>stretch for about 30 minutes, like lay in splits, yoga stuff, etc.</p>
<p>50 crunches<br />
25 leg lifts<br />
50 bicycles<br />
25 squats<br />
15 sumo squats<br />
50 calve raises<br />
100 arm circles<br />
15 pushups<br />
50 jumping jacks<br />
1 minute plank</p>
<p>also i will be drinking at least 8 -10 cups of ice water per day, be on a pretty strict diet consisting of mostly fruits, veggies, lean meat, salad, eggs, etc. no startchy or sugary foods, or junk. skim milk, starting day out with grapefruit, chew sugar free gum, keep a &#8216; food&#8217; diary, fat free jello, yogurt, etc. !</p>
<p>i would love to lose 20 pounds. i know its a lot. but by doing this process every day how long do you think it will be before i lose 10 pounds? 20 pounds?</p>

<p>Two reasons.<br />
A. Your diet idea is awful (special K is oats and sugar, Hot pockets? Please&#8230; read the labels.)<br />
B.  Your not working your body beyond it&#8217;s normal capacity. 10 Minutes? Try 30-40. Unless your working at your target heart rate for 20+ minutes at a time, your not reducing.</p>

I am a freshmen in college and i am worried about gaining the freshmen 15 :O<br />
I have already started gaining some weight due to the fact that the food at the res halls is served buffet style and i have a tendency of getting up and serving myself food multiple times.</p>
<p>All I&#8217;m asking is for help on how i can lose weight and tone up. I am not sure how to go about this.<br />
I am 18 years old and weight 140 pounds. I don&#8217;t do any exercise. &#038;  I hopefully would like to get down to 125 pounds. My thighs are a HUGE problem for mee. </p>
<p>I need to find out how many calories i need to eat everyday, what exercises i should do and tips on how not to eat as much <img src='http://www.pwi2010.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  all help is appreciated ! Thanks </p>
